Method & privacy
How the matching works
Deterministic (confirmed) — exact email match or a verified shared id. Duplicates and conflicts are surfaced, never silently merged.
Probabilistic (suggested) — ruleset candidate-rules-v1.1 compares the name on the ActiveCampaign record against DERIVATIVES of that name inside the PostHog identity's email local-part: full first+last ("brookehartrose"), dotted in either order ("monica.gimlett"), initial+surname ("jmartinez"), surname-only, supported nicknames, plus string similarity and own-email corroboration. Common surnames score lower (rarity-weighted); competing candidates demote to "ambiguous". Scores are explainable heuristic points — not calibrated probabilities.
Outstanding — everything not confirmed is reported with its observed trial/revenue exposure so you can judge whether another matching pass is worth it.
Privacy & provenance
Read-only against both sources (bounded, paginated pulls). No writes, no new accounts, no new purchases.
Redaction: names → first-letter only; emails → a***@domain; raw ids replaced by snapshot-local aliases (A-####/P-####, stable within this snapshot only).
Sources: ActiveCampaign account hiava (contacts + custom fields) and PostHog project 170148 "AVA" (persons + RevenueCat lifecycle events). PostHog persons carry no name properties on the live data — that gap is listed in the data-gaps table and is the main lever for the next matching pass.
What this snapshot is not
Not a payout system: no commission or referral-credit logic runs here.
Not a merge: accepting a suggestion records a decision only; the source systems are never changed.
Not live: it is a point-in-time snapshot. Refresh = re-run the tool and republish this page.
